Has anyone figured out how to successfully make toast with a Wallis stove?

Thanks,

We've tried, but without success...

Silly question since we do not have the Wallas stove.... does it have a flame like a normal gas stove or is it a "Hot Plate" type set up?

It is diesel fired with a ceramic surface. When I had propane burners, I used a $2.95 camping trivet to toast on to perfection.

1. Place slices of bread in frying pan with butter.

2. Place fryng pan on stove.

3. Turn on stove.

Works for me.

My wife toasts on the Wallis -- cool it down, use cool side and WATCH CAREFULLY!!
