Has anyone had a problem with their tecma vacuflush toilet level indicator lights? My indicator light is showing green all the time even after a few days use. From pervious experience, it should start showing amber towareds red after 3 or 4 days. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It could be a gummed up sensor in the holding tank. You might try pumping the holding tank then filling it with fresh water through the pump out fitting. Then get underway and do several turns to slosh it around a bit. Pump it out and the sensors should be clean.

On mine, the sensor is a sensor strip adhered to the outside of the black water tank. First check, did it fall off?

Second check, add water to the pump out port and see if the light changes. Yellow should be half full, red is full and good for something like three more flushes only.

Just some thoughts.

While cleaning out the shower sump on my 29', I too noticed the high water sensor had fallen off. I think anyone who has easy access to the black water tank should check to see the sensor is in place. The result of overfilling the tank due to a missing sensor would be very very unpleasant!

Mine does something similar. Goes green to red, no Amber.

Mine was so unreliable I installed the Tank Tender gauge by Heart Systems.Fool proof gage system so now I can easily check tank levels.

I have installed both the scad solo and the tank edge. Neither worked.
