Wondering if anyone has used and had success with using Topcoat F11 on their boat hulls . Does it really work the way they say it does?

My experience is that all waxes and polishes are sold by snake oil salesmen. I have never seen one product last any longer than another. I have also done tests side by side and cannot see any significant difference between anything I have tested. I think ease of application is a factor. I seem to always come back to Collinite products. They worked well on my plane and on the boat. The metal cleaner and wax is easy to apply and lasts a long time. The hull cleaner and liquid wax are easy to apply and seem to hold up for about six months. I do the boat twice a year.

The products I use is Speed Bead by Stoner (not Bead Wax by Stoner) which I buy direct from the company by the case. It goes on very easy, and I too, apply it twice a year. Just spray it on, wiped it around and then wipe it off. I use it on my vehicles as well. I have not found any auto store that stocks it. Amazon $12 a can, from Stoner for a case of 12 $5 a can. The other product I use is Hot Sauce. I use it every time I pull the boat out of the water. It is mostly for water spots, salts and other grime you can smell the vinegar in it and it has some wax.

I recently had my Cutwater 28 detailed by Bellingam Yacht sales in Everett WA. They used SEAPOWER Cleaner and wax on the hull (which they buffed) and the rest of the boat. They used Seapower with a toothbrush on the rust at various areas on the fiberglass. It turned out great.

Sea Shanti

Boat Bling Hot Sauce works fantastic for the quick detailing that I think you’re looking for. For a traditional waxing I use collinite.
