Torqeedo Battery Recall

Torqeedo is recalling certain batteries used in its electric outboard motors due to issues with the seals used to keep the lithium-ion batteries water-tight. Here's a link to the website that describes how to determine if your motor is affected;

The website also provides information on what to do if your serial number is within the range that requires inspection and/or repair.

I store my Torqeedo in the cave of my R-25, so it's usually out of the elements, but the consequences of water leaking into a battery are serious, so I'm having this work done.

Thank you for the recall info. My Torqeedo battery is affected and I was not aware of this until I saw your post.
