My wife is starting to hint that we should get a Ranger Tug. I am most interested in the R23 and the R25. We prefer a trailerable boat for the variety of boating locations it can provide.

To that end, what are the real world all up towing weights for the R23 and R25?

In my experience with other boats, the manufacturer provided towing weights tend to be rather optimistic.

I have weighed our 2009 RT-25 Classic on about a dozen official WA and OR state scales over the past four years. Depending on fuel and equipment on board the weights for boat and trailer have ranged from 9,600 to 9,850 pounds. These weights are with both the fresh water and black water tanks completely empty. The aluminum tandem axle trailer by itself has consistently weighed in at 1,850 pounds.
