It’s not so much the brands but the trailer’s components that’s important in my opinion. The factory uses EZ-Loader. Tuff Trailers is good also but they are PNW.
First you want the trailer to be capable of handling your load. And by load I mean the actual weight of your boat with the things inside and tank levels at what you normally are towing. Don’t use the manufactures dry weight, that number is usually absurdly low.
The Ranger Tug (and Cutwater too for different reasons) hulls are unique and require a trailer manufacturer that understands the deep keel design and can make a trailer that keeps the boat as low as possible.
Tandem axles can be configured to haul up to 10K of trailer weight. Above that you really need a triple axle trailer. I like aluminum I beam with electric over hydraulic disc brakes on all wheels. And all stainless hardware.
Hope that info helps!
