We had the RockGARD screens installed on the trailer by the dealer before it came up the Alaska Highway. Most of the boat was also wrapped for that trip though. They seem to do a good job. We tow on some nasty gravel roads to the lakes here, and have only a few small chips up above the screens. I'm thinking I might adding the RockGARD flaps on the truck hitch next spring before towing it back down the Alaska Highway to Vancouver Island.
We also snap the windshield cover in place for towing. I'm planning on adding some foam under the cover to better protect the glass from flying stones.
