Looking for a triple axel, 12,000 lb trailer for my 2021 R27 Outboard. Have contacted several manufacturers in the Seattle & WA area but it seems that they are all priced the same, within a couple hundred dollars anyway. In Florida I've found several similar trailers for much less than on the west coast. Even with the delivery fee to Colorado(where I live) they are a much better price. I do not understand the significant price difference. Having worked in the aluminum extruding industry, most of our aluminum comes from Canada and WA is closer to Canada than Florida. Would settle for a good used one.

I had a Texas built tandem axle aluminum trailer that came with my Monterey 242 Cruiser. It was very light. When you looked at it going down the road it was like watching spaghetti.
The Tuff tandem axle aluminum trailer I bought for my R-25 Classic was 2,000 pounds and built like a brick poophouse. It didn’t wiggle at all.
The factory sold EZ Loader triple axle aluminum trailer for my C-28 is about 2,500 pounds and, while solid, it’s not as beefy as the Tuff Trailer.
I think you get what you pay for in a trailer.

Andy, the broker/owner at Ballast Point Yachts in San Diego, had one for sale a few weeks ago.....(I bought the boat, not the trailer)...Don't know if it is still for sale...Used, for a R27 OB....

Just got of the phone with Andy. He had no clue about a used trailer. Anybody have any experience with the new trailers he sells? ie Western Boat Trailers.

We had a 5th wheel trailer built by Palm Beach Trailers for our 29 Ranger Tug. The trailer was built very well and we hauled the boat on it from South Carolina to Louisiana and from Louisiana to a marina in Alabama. Very well made trailer but it wasn't cheap but we wanted to make sure it was quality made. We went with a 2 axle trailer with extras. You can contact my husband for all the info. Thank you for the input. I've decided to go with a Float On from the Ranger Factory. Although I live in Colorado, my boat and trailer need are in Washington. Easier for me to go this route. My travels( Washington, Canada, Alaska) require a triple axle with brakes on all axles.

Make sure that float on gives you 16" wheels/tires & the correct load range on the tires!

I would try & get a better load range. Float on usually supplies Chinese tires.

Melbond has a R29 on a dual axle.( see above) The float on is a triple. Having just purchased the boat, I'm trying to keep my costs down. Many tires these days are manufactured in china. I'll just have to roll the dice and go with what's supplied.

Maybe too late for your consideration, but I have a 2020 EZLoader triple axle trailer that was set up for the R7OB that I bought this. Boat was towed from Florida to Connecticut on this trailer, which I no longer need and would like to sell. I haven't determined market value, but the agreed value for insurance is $10K, if that is any indication. The factory description is TIA102B 272R 13000 ELE/HYD D3X.
