Transmission Jolt

Had the boat engine balanced the other week. Now periodically when I go into gear from neutral, I get a bit of a jolt.
This will occur approximately every 5th or 6th shift from neutral to forward or neutral to reverse.
Any thoughts?

Can you explain what was done to the engine. "Engine balanced". Volvo shifting is done electrically with solenoids. It should be smooth. Check motor mounts for tightness and coupler bolts. Just a start. Your explanation is a bit vague.

Had diver on the boat, he says the prop keyway is likely partially sheared.
