Transom Shower Leak

Noticed freshwater in bilge, tracked it down to outdoor shower. Freshwater pump was cycling every now and then. Tracked leak to transom shower on 21 R27. Unable to shut completely off. Left pump on for an overnight with shower head in bucket and gathered about 2 gallons of water. The mixer shut off, I tightened the Phillips screw and the same on shower head, still leaks. Anybody know the brand of that shower assembly and if parts are available. Not a problem if I keep pump off.

We order these from ITC and the part number is 97012SSM.
 
I saw that the ITC part Kenny posted was for the stainless steel showerhead (97012SS). In our 2020 R29, that's the showerhead in the head. Our transom showerhead is the same as ITC part SKU No. 97022-001-SR, a white plastic showerhead similar to a kitchen sink sprayer head. You can find this in the "Service Parts" --> "Plumbing Service Parts" section if ITC's webpage. Perhaps your newer 2021 R27 has the stainless shower wand for the transom shower though.

Only replied to this post because our transom showerhead cracked during a freeze last winter, and I attempted to replace it with one from a local marine supply store, and that one didn't seal properly against the hose connection, and I didn't now where to get an exact replacement. Now I do thanks to your post and Kenny's reply 😀

Also FYI, our stock transom showerhead has a ridiculously low flow rate, more just trickles out. There is a flow restrictor just inside the handle where it connects to the hose. You can either remove this restrictor for great flow, or remove it and drill the orifice to a larger diameter until you get what you need.

I took the spray wand off above the flow control, and put in a 1/2 inch pipe plug. If I need it, the sprayer is in the transom sink. Cheap fix, and hopefully no more water in bilge. Thanks to RT for model and part number.
 
Great tip on the flow Mike. I always wondered why it was so weak.
