Hi all,
Anyone have trim tab corrosion issues,if so what is a good treatment?
Thanks,George

Do you mean corrosion or do you mean marine growth?

I believe all the trim tabs on the Tugs are stainless steel and should not see any concernable corrosion. Are your zincs being replaced regularly? There should be one on each trim tab.

If you are trying to stop marine growth, I had prop speed applied to them and my running gear during my last haul out, this helps stop growth, and most growth that does occur doesn't attach well and it scrubbed off when I use the boat by water flow.

Trim tabs each have zinc routinely checked and replaced . This is a 2016 Cutwater 30CB
Hull and all surrounding tabs cleaned every 3 weeks
Thanks
G

Can you post a picture of your corrosion issues so we can see what you are talking about?

Sorry ,can only view top of tab and see no corrosion there. My diver reported it and I’m awaiting a detailed report.
Thank you for your response.
