Trolling motor remote steering linkage

Does anyone have a factory installed kicker/trolling motor with a steering linkage connected to the F300? Mine was installed post-delivery I believe (by former owner) and something isn't right about this. There is a bolt in the linkage arm from the F300 that connects to a plate that the connecting arm is attached to. Either the bolt is too long or something isn't right, because when the motor is trimmed up the bolt is contacting (and gouging into) the aluminum UFLEX steering housing. I found this while lubing the grease fittings. It's probably been this way since installation. TIA!

Wow, that's a different setup. Doesn't even connect to the same linkage bar on the F300. Interesting. I think I need to investigate an upgrade...
