Trolling Valve?

I've been trying to figure out how to get better trolling speeds with the 3YM30 and my 2011 Ranger 21EC. Because I can't seem to get below 2.2, 2.3 kts, thought about a trolling motor set up. Someone has mentioned a transmission trolling valve that is forein to me. Is this an option?

Can be added after market . Lots of boats use them . If you call a Yanmar dealer they should be able to help you .Let them know which engine/transmission you have . I researched it once for a Shamrock we sold and it goes between the oil lines that go to the heat exchanger .
