Well I did it again. Tug of My Heart 11 was traded in for a new R27OB and going by the name of Tug of My Heart 111 Yep #3.Tim delivered the boat on Thursday the 15th and spent the day showing us the systems and Kenny came Friday the 16th. What a great and excellent job they did. Now if the weather would go back to what it was last week we would love to take her out for spin.

From what I have been reading there is an extended wait for delivery on these models (2018 R27 OB) They do seem very popular. I just consummated a purchase today. Dealer had it in stock so I took it.

Congratulations on the new boat!

I was at the Boston boat show last week, the Ranger rep told me if I ordered a 27OB at the show, I could expect delivery in Sept. He said demand for the 27OB was very high, higher than they were expecting. He said demand for the 23OB was even higher. I ordered my 27OB last June and it is scheduled to be built in March.

WOW! I must have lucked out. The dealer had one for sale at the Milwaukee Boat show. No waiting for it to be built, only for warmer weather to take delivery.

Yup, you definitely lucked out. I could have bought the one my dealer in ME had last May, but we didn't like the color and it was a Luxury Edition and we wanted a NorthWest edition, so we had to order new and wait. The dealer in MA has a new 27OB in stock, but it is not the color we want and our boat is now so close to being built we are going to wait the 8 weeks for the one we ordered.

I realize this is a Ranger forum…… However, the wait for the Cutwaters are about just as long. We ordered our C302 Coup (twin OB) towards the end of September. Was told we received the next to last build slot. Delivery is tentatively set for early May. Hope it comes in at that time. My retirement is waiting on our new vessel.

Dennis & Darleen: Congratulations.... the R-27/OB is special and you will enjoy it for sure.

Yea.... I know what you mean about the weather change from last week or so. Still, it's cold but the waters are calm and little to no wind today...
