Hello fellow Tugnuts!

It's been a while since I've been active on these boards, as we had quite a lot going on in the last couple years. Some good (new job, new puppy Flapjack), some bad (lost my mom, my dog titan, etc). In that time we've done a lot of learning about ourselves and what we wanted out of our boating time. And we came to the same conclusion we had before we bought TugBug, the cute little 2013 R21EC: We want a 25SC and what it offers. TugBug was great and did exactly what we asked her to.

So, after a visit to Ranger Andrew at the boat show, he made us a deal we just could not refuse (how many of us keep saying just that?). We wiggled the numbers and money around, and VIOLA! We take delivery on Saturday!!

She's a Blue 2016 R25SC, and her name is... Tug Toy! She'll be living in Edmonds in slip C-41, close by to a few other Rangers, including Crow & Eagle just a few slips down, and two more across on D Dock!

We're super excited to begin the next phase of our journey, and we're already planning to sign up for the Rendezvous to Roche and any other excursions we can. Tug Toy will give us the tools and the range we want to cruise our way.

I look forward to seeing you guys again somewhere out there... And so do the puppies!

Paul and Sunny-

Will you be at the Rendezvous?

Paul & Sunny.... This of course was not a surprise to me 😱 You two needed a larger RT for sure.... 🙂

It was fun seeing you let go of TugBug without any tears last Saturday. That R25SC is a beaut.... love the Volvo engine layout and it has much better access than the earlier Yanmar engine had (especially in the R-25 Classic model). While watching you both getting the introduction from Ronnie I was impressed with all the updates Ranger has made to the R25 model. Things are easier to get at, electrical systems laid out very nicely, console leather cladding was/is a nice touch, the folding dinette table will be welcomed by you and is a clever design IMO, the cabin side windows looked to me to be larger than on the R-25 Classic, nice teak panelling, improved upholstery fabric patterns, diesel powered heating for winter time (niceeee), Mast folding sideways now rather than forward, where was your searchlight though... ?????, access to the inside of transom-rudder, stern thruster, gray water cleanup screw lid were all very impressive, Cabin lights being white or red must be a cost saver for Ranger, and so on.

Congratulations to you both. 🙂

I took a snapshot....
