Starr, My R-25 is on Lake Winnipesaukee, NH. We call her "At Ease!" and this is my third season. Good luck with your new vessel, I'm sure you won't be dissappointed and will be happy with the factory support team.

john, thanks for the reply. so, any idea how many tugs in new england? couple from maine on lake champlain said they want to do the great loop. you? taking our 25 to sunapee nh late fall . are you trailering? starr

Starr, There is another R-25 on Champlain but I cannot remember the owner's or boat's name. There is a gentleman named Ed Brady in Ct. I do not trailor my tug and plan to keep thoughts of cruising in my dreams. I'm quite happy with Winnipesaukee for now.

starr,

We have a 2007 R-25 (Nauti Dream) out of Hazlet, NJ (down by Sandy Hook, just south of New York City). We were up in Lake Champlain during the first 3 weeks of July with her on vacation. We heard of one other gentleman that was there a few weeks prior to us but all that we could get for a description was that he had long gray hair with a pony-tail. I know there is a R-21 on the Champlain Canal at Schylerville. I have had the pleasure of seeing the R-25 pass by out of CT when I was up at City Island, NY but was unable to catch his attention. I have also seen a red R-25 based out of Coeyman's Landing, NY. That's about it. We have traveled up to Champlain, down to Cape May, NJ and over and up to Rhode Island through the Long Island Sound. There don't appear to be as many here in the New England area as there are on the West coast but everywhere we go people want one.
