Help! We just got a 2013 R27 and I can’t figure out how to flip down the ceiling mounted TV. I’ve examined the bracket and can’t locate a locking mechanism but when I pull pretty hard the TV remains firmly up.
What am I missing here?

We have a 2014 Ranger Tug with the center mounted TV. There is a slide in toggle bar. Push the toggle about 1/2 inch to port, such that the toggle indentation is even with starboard bracket. Then push up on the TV, and it then magically releases. Sometimes the monitor is not level in the foldup position, and can't be pushed high enough. Level it out and then it can be pushed high enough to release. Do it once and it seems easy after that.

If is like mine on a 2012 R27, there is a long horizontal rod visible on the mounting bracket. It is notched on each end. I take my left hand and support the TV screen. I take my right hand and push the right side of the rod to port until the notch aligns with a piece of the bracket and voila! The TV will fall down. Once down the TV tilt forward and back and not be at an optimal viewing angle. There is a knob on the bracket directly on the TV that you can tighten or loosen to adjust the viewing angle. HTH, GF

It works! Thanks GaylesFaire. The key is to push up on the TV to relieve its weight on the locking mechanism. As soon as I did that I was able to push the bar with the spring on it and presto, down came the TV. I’d been pressing that in both directions with no luck and I just knew there had to be a trick.
