Two Piece Chrome mast?

Newbie here, I am wondering the purpose of the two piece chrome mast that fits into the cockpit rod holder? I have two of these masts and each has an eyelet on the top and a cleat in the middle.

Could it be for holding the shore power cable? Or maybe to hold guy wires for a cockpit shade cloth? Send a picture.

I found out that the poles are for the Sun Shade that I purchased as an option, Ivan has all the answers!

The poles are for the stern (sunset) shade. The shade panel is white phifertex. We bought this option to reduce sun exposure and cool down the cockpit of our 2023 R27. We made matching side panels, which help in the hot New England summers. With the side panels, the setup works well.

We store the poles and shade panels in the cave.

The poles go into the stern rod holders with the cleat in the middle and the ring at the top. The aft shade panel zips into the aft edge of the Bimini and the port and starboard lines tension the panel via the rings at the top of the poles.

While a bit of a pricey option, it does cut sun glare and cockpit temps. However, the additional side panels are really helpful.
