two questions

I don't know how its attached but I assume its sturdy enough to attach to. Just don't drill to deep! I have always tried to mount things in a way that can be returned to stock incase the next owner doesn't like my modification.

Thanks, we will investigate when we get into heated storage that we have been contracted for
He is to put us in this week, so far it has been minimal rain and no snow!
We are not happy! to say the least.
This is the problem with buying in the fall. Price is right but can't get to it until Spring. Launch date is 3/30!

We have a small trash can on our boat (Type C trash bags, 2.6-3.2 gallons), and we move it to one of three spots depending on what we're doing: cruising, docked, or preparing meals.
  • While cruising: We keep it under the dinette table on the left side. No one uses that bench seat during travel since it's facing forward.
  • While docked: The bench seat is turned to face the dinette, so we move the trash can to the helm area—no one is stationed there when we're docked.
  • While cooking: I keep it right next to me so I can quickly toss scraps and packaging as I prepare meals.
This simple system keeps the trash can accessible when we need it and out of the way when we don't!
