Ultra deck

Has any one installed ultra deck or similar to the deck and how does it clean up.I was at the Roche harbour rendezvous and saw it there ,can’t temper the company that supplies it.

The brand I used is Raptor deck. I had it installed on my 23 and really like it. It cleans up really well even with fishing. It does have a few stains which might require a little elbow grease but very minimal compared to what my non skid would look like without it. I’m a big fan!

I have U-Dek installed. It's a product of Ultralon Foam based in New Zealand. The U.S. distributor is about 10 miles from my home in RI they supply the product to Raptor from what I was told. I had one piece lift up, the piece that is on the cover for the swim ladder. I suspect the edge got caught when we were using the swim ladder. I contacted the company and they made me a new piece.
The product is easy to stand on for long periods of time, soft to kneel on, does not get as hot as the fiberglass even in FL sun, cleans up easily but if there is a stain it will require some elbow grease.

We agree with Andrew. We saw pictures of it on his boat and on Raptor's web site and had it installed before we took delivery of or new R-27. There have been a couple of time when someone with black (gasp!) soles have been in the cockpit, which would have been no fun getting of the decking. With the Raptor covering, a quick swipe with damp towel takes care of it. Also very easy on the feet and secure footing.

Highly recommended.

I used Sea Deck - Love it. It's cool on the feet, non slip and cleans well. Gives a cushion on the feet and I think it reduces engine noise. See photo album for pictures.
