Under Grill drain plug size and thread

My R-27 came without a drain plug for the well under the grill at the transom.
Can anyone tell me what size / thread plug I need? I imagine I can pick one up at the big box store.

Be wary of big box store's metal parts. Generally inferior metals with lots of brass and mixed fillers that quicky deteriorate in a water environment. Pay the price and go to a marine store that understands what you are trying to accomplish.
 
Naturally I never considered a metallic drain plug. PVC, nylon, etc. is what I need.
Do you know the size plug and thread?
