Underwater drain plug with led light embedded

I saw on Amazon an underwater lighting system that is embedded into a drainplug, I thing that it is a great idea to have an underwater light to see the fish at night and I was thinking about getting one, but wonder about the safety about this system. Really what I am afraid of is about water coming in if a mishap happen within the lighting system. Does anybody use such an underwater light thru the drain plug?

I wouldn't use anything that could possibly leak like that. How about underwater lights on the trim tabs? They would be a better option and give off more light. Plus they look pretty cool 😎

Hello Brian,

I do not have any trim tabs on my tug. I also saw another model that is much safer, you simply dropped over the side and connect on the batterie just like booster cable...
