Underwater LED lights on the trim tabs?

Do you know if these lights were standard on 2014 CB 31?
Thanks Jeff

pretty sure they were. They were standard on the 2012 cutwater 28. - actually its unclear if thats true. they were an option and not on the standard list. but im thought they were offering the northwest edition from the dealers at the time which included the deisel heat, agm batteries, LED trim tab lights. etc the internet archive doesnt have that record anymore

Thanks, Ours is a 2014 maybe i need to take a dive and see

mine have both failed and will be replaced when the boat is hauled next. they lasted about 5 years. yours if you have them may have done the same.

interesting I just looked in the internet archive. in 2011 they were an option.

but

Im pretty sure they were included as soon as they started offering the Northwest addition or luxury editions as standard equipments in those specs. im not sure what year that came in.

I have a 2014 R31S. They were not standard. On the next haulout, I am going to get some installed, but not on the tabs.

Maybe I am getting old and grumpy but my 2017 has them as standard and I wish they were not. They used to be a $700 option. I understand that they are great in Florida where they attract beautiful tropical fish but in the PNW we may get the odd dogfish swimming by. I have removed the fuse because the switch is set near the sink in the cockpit and I was often inadvertently tripping it. During the day I would not notice that the lights were on. At next haul out I will remove the lights. They only collect sea growth.
