Upgraded to a New R23 D

Greetings,
I traded my beloved R21 EC, my first boat. I will miss her, may the new owners enjoy and cherish her. I took delivery of my new R23 Diesel.... although I was skeptical because no one talks about the R23 Diesel. I decided if its made by Ranger Tug you can't go wrong. The outboards look great, I just prefer the diesel. I will be out on the Hudson River and North Atlantic coast this season see you out there.

PS: Who was that R25 out in Cold Spring on the Hudson River Yesterday, I haven't seen a 25 on the river in a while.

My understanding is that RT has sold maybe 4 of the stern drive R-23s. Thus you may get minimum inputs here from other R-23 stern drive owners. At first I was leaning toward stern drive for the R-23, but have now gone with a new 2018 R-27 purchase that is not offered with the stern drive option. I think RT was at first thinking about offering the new 2018 R-27 with stern drive option but as they've sold few of the R-23s with stern drives they must have had second thoughts about it for the new 2018 R-27. Over past few months I find I've warmed up to the outboards and have no regrets at this time. 😱

Admiral S where are you from ? ....I wanted to stop by but was running late. That R27 is a great looking boat for sure. Im sure I will see you again. I'm at West Point USMA.

We keep the boat in Stony Point, but regularly come up to Cold Spring. See you out on the water!
