Upgrading from manual to electric toilet

So in the end how much hose did you need to buy? I need to order some and I don't want to be caught short. Also why did you add the check valve to the raw water line?

I did get 15 feet of sanitation/raw water hose. All said and done I have about 4 feet left of both, but I preferred having more than less and can use the left over for other jobs.

I added a check valve in the inlet as per Dometic recommendations.

As well, after reading a few posts here and on other blogs, electric toilets with macerators don't like to run dry, it decreases the life of the pump/macerator pump combo. As such, by installing a check valve as close to the strainer as possible, you ensure that the inlet hose is always full and the pump remains prime between flushing cycles.

Good idea. Thanks.
