USB/Cigarette Lighter Ports

My 2018 R-27 OB has 3 USB Ports, but no 12 volt cigarette lighter port. Can a USB Port be converted to a cigarette lighter port so that I can plug in 12 volt items?

A quick google search should give you a couple options. Looks like they make a conversion plug.

Hello O’rion,

The outlets can be swapped out very easily as the wiring on the back is exactly the same. I would also be sure that the new 12V outlet requires the same size fuse just to be sure. Next time on the boat, check down in the midberth on the aft wall above the small teak shelf, there should be 1 non-USB style outlet.
