I searched the forums and couldn't find and answer. Do I have to keep the Original USCG Documentation Certificate on board? Or Can I keep a copy on board and keep the original in my safe at home?
Your original documentation certificate must be onboard. Please refer to 46 CFR 67.313 and A Boater's Guide to the Federal Requirements for Recreational Boats.
