This might not be the correct area for “parts wanted” so feel free to move it to the right area. I just put new wiper arms and blades on our R27 and I found salt water had worked its way into one of the wiper motor shafts and seized it up. The motor seems fine but I need to replace the shaft and of course no one sells parts for it. It’s a AFi 1000, I’d be willing to buy one with a bad motor as long as the shaft is good to try and repair mine. Please PM me if you have one laying around you would like to sell. I see Amazon has them for $172.00 with free shipping but I’d like to try to save this one first. Thank you!

These AFi 1000 wiper motors are crap. They are designed not to be fixed (you can't take them apart, planned obsolescence) and the shafts are known to seize up under normal use. It's a very common issue. They should recall every one ever made. I've replaced three so far and two of those already failed again. I'm looking for a different brand.

I bought a (new) one from Hawk Electronics last month for $140.

Part number MRNCO−42950695−HWK, $140.20, AFI1000 MOTOR 65 1−1/2" .OEM (part number off of the invoice)

If you find a better made model, let us know.

Thanks
