Hello,
I'm adding 2 batteries ( similar to the a/c equipped boats. I need to know what is needed for proper venting during battery charging. Qty. Size and location. My boat has the hot water tank factory installed so my additional batteries will be located, a bit starboard of the a/c) equipped boats.
This information would be greatly appreciated.

I have two large batteries in rear compartment. One an extra house battery and one a spare start battery. They are charged when engine running along with other two next to engine. Also four charged with installed CTEK trickle charger from shore power or in my boat shed. No vents. When I charge with CTEK I lift small cover. Never a problem. Cheers.
