While away from shore power, I am seeing significant voltage drops at night. I am only running the interior fridge and water. Current is between 4-5 amps and raised to 7-8 when the fridge is running. There is a normal slope of voltage drops and the a significant change in slope or even a spike down to low 11 or even high 10 volts.
Yesterday, I turned off the solar and ran a load test running 3 fridges, Starlink, and even pops some corn in the microwave with normal drops in voltage.
So then I disconnected all the battery negative wires and ran a load test on each individual battery. Again, it looked ok.
This morning at 6am the garmin chart plotter had turned on (due to new power source) and was sounding the start up alarm. Voltage was in the lower 11 volts (although the history trend from my SmartShunt is showing it was 11.8.
Thinking to run a longer load test today and then not run the fridge overnight.
Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.
