Hello,
When I recently purchased our new "Used" Ranger the previous owner had the Garmin limit engine top rpm
at 3,700 or maybe it was 3800 anyway, speaking with a mechanic at a local marina he commented that I should be sure once and awhile I should run the diesel at top RPM (Not sure what that is 4500? Will look at manual)
He said to run it briefly like 10 Min.
Can anyone comment if this is accurate and what do you run your engine at when you want to run higher end if you need to asap someplace and I am speaking of an hour run.
Best,
Ned Betty
