I have a 2016 R-27 with volvo d3. Trying to achieve a trolling speed without installing a kicker. Is this possible with the low power button? What is the low power function. Any other ways to slow the speed?
 
It is my understanding you need a "trolling valve" on the engine for this feature. Unfortunately it is also my understanding that that option is not available for the Volvo D3. In addition, based on previous comments on Tugnuts by folks with other models that do have a trolling valve it can be a challenge to steer due to the slow speed and small rudder.

Search for "trolling valve" on this site and you can read a fair amount of comments regarding this as well as other options you may consider for trolling.
