without spinning up a what oil is best thread 😀 you can also use Delo oil in your volvo which is easier to find
I have a VP D3 and the operators manual provides the oil specification (API, etc.). I would assume your engine manual would also provide the same. If the Delco oil meets the VP specification it is good to use and should not void your warranty if still in effect.

I want to stay with the Volvo branded engine oil for warranty reasons and they ship it out via UPS.
