Volvo Penta crankcase filter D4 300 HP

It was time to replace the crankcase filter on our VP D4, $130.00 range for the VP filter. I found a cross reference filter made by Mann, who makes filters for BMW n others for roughly half the price. I received the Mann filter today n it’s a perfect match. Mann’s part number is LC 5001 X, for those that are interested. I could not find a cross reference for the air filter, anyone know of one?

BTW... and what engine hrs or months is this filter replacement required ?

Hi Barry. Yes that’s the one. I’m not where I can check but if I’m remembering correctly it’s suggested to change at the 250 hour range. Our boating is finished until we trailer Kismet to Florida for a couple of months at the end of the year, so I’ve got 4 months to get caught up on other projects.
