Volvo Penta fuel water sensor

The fuel water sensor on my C
Volvo Penta D3-200 says I need to drain the filter. First step is to remove the sensor. How do I do that? I have tried everything I can think of andit is still on their tight.

Rapid response appreciated as I am a long ways from home and far from help.

There is a wire bail on the sensor. Push it in and pull down on the sensor.
