I apologize in advance for another posts on Anchors, but have searched the various threads and couldn't find the answer. I'll be as specific as I can.
I would like to get the Vulcan 15kg for my R31 and do see from other posts that the tip of the fluke does hit the rubber strike plate under the roller. My question is, to those with Vulcan 15kgs on R29 and R31s, have you come up with a solution to keep the tip of the fluke off the boat? For eg, I know the Mantus Anchor guard works for the Rocna 15, Mantus M1, M2 etc but does it work for the Vulcan?
Thanks ever so much.

I have a Vulcan on my 27, and am using the Mantus anchor guard. The set up on your boat is different than the 27.

I recently installed a 15 kg Vulcan on a RT31CB with the Mantus Anchor Guard. The tip of the anchor is VERY close to contacting the boat. I may try and find a bow roller with a slightly larger diameter which should give a bit more clearance. Also, the bail will not secure the anchor anymore, need to use a short line or something.

I have a R31CB. I added a Rocna 15 and a Mantus anchor guard. My problem is that when I pull the anchor up it bends the bolt holding the Guard. I replaced the stainless bolt which I had purchased with a grade 8 bolt. but it still bends causing the anchor not to fit right. Have any of you had this issue and if so, what is a solution?
