Vulcan Anchor for R31S

I have reviewed the discussions on the suitability of the Rocna 15 anchor for an R31. It appears that the Rocna 15 is accomodated by the factory anchor roller and bail on the R31. My wife and I accepted delivery of an R31S in November, and we are readying the boat for cruising in the San Juan and Gulf Islands this summer. Has any R31 owner switched to a Vulcan 12 or larger Vulcan anchor? If so, were any modifications of the anchor roller or bail required to properly mount the Vulcan anchor? The shank of the Vulcan anchor appears to be much more curved than the shank of the Rocna anchor, and I am concerned about the hassle of modifying the roller to accept the Rocna anchor or a poor fit in the roller without modifications. I would appreciate any advice from Ranger Tug owners who have installed a Vulcan anchor on their boats. Thank you.

Not sure why you would want to drop to a smaller anchor from the 15 to the 12Kg? I use the smaller rocna for my 21ec. Both are great anchors.
