Walk Around Extenders

I understand that they have walk around extenders available for the Ranger 25 Tugs where can we purchase them?

We are looking at purchasing a 2009 Ranger 25 and would like to make it safer and easier to walk around the cabin of the boat.

I have a 2009 R25 Classic and have never heard mention of a “walk around extender” for the boat. Is this something to do with the fold down dining table in the cabin? Is it electrical like a shore power cord? Or are you talking about something on the swim platform? Something in the cockpit like a step? Quite confused by this term.

I assume you mean the little screw on strips that make the side decks about 1.5" wider.....They do make it better to walk from the cockpit to the bow. I would ask Richard in RT Parts. Parts@rangertugs.com. He will know where they get them.

PS - they hold your fenders on the side decks really well too. 🙂

Rocky, yes, the gunwale trim piece that was used on the newer R-27 Classics. Makes sense now.

Rocky’s correct - Richard in RT Parts would be the person to talk to about that. You would want to confirm that that trim piece would fit the gunwale edge profile on the 2009 R-25. Doubt if they have the exact lengths you would need to gat around the fresh water cap gap in the starboard gunwale so you probably need to see it the trim can be cut to the right lengths.
