Walker Bay RID 275

I've been trying to find out if Walker Bay still makes this 8' dinghy with no luck so far. I know West Marine stopped carrying them and have not found much on line about current production. My backup plan is a West Marine RIB 260, weighing 115 #, for my 29' Ranger but was looking for something a little lighter but still as stable if possible.

Has anyone done any research lately on this boat or maybe have a used one for sale that has the floatation collar?

Answered my own question today. There appears to be one dealer left in Washington and he's in Seattle. The person who called me said they are able to order two boats each quarter that are shipped in a container along with the larger WB RIBs. He said WB will likely get out of the 8' and 10' RIB production in a year or so to concentrate on their larger and pricier RIBs. So, I don't want to order a boat that will shortly be out of production and has few dealers left for support. The price has gone up quite a bit too so th 8' dinghy is $908. and another $1277. for the tube kit.
