We are seeking a small (<9ft) inflatable dingy with an air floor in good condition. Hypalon preferred.
Please call Bob (206) 617-6040 or email: rosemanbob@comcast.net

My experience with an air floor is that they are a real P.I.A. There are just too many seams that can eventually leak. My local inflatable repair shop convinced me to convert my Achilles to a solid floor. I ended up making one out of marine grade plywood.

Counter point to Brian's post. I bought an off brand 9' dink from ebay, new. It has an inflatable floor. This dink is now at least 15 years old. I had it stored in the shed loft for at least 10 years. I dragged it out last month and inflated same. all the tubes held air, the floor had a leak at the valve. A quick cleaning with water and a Q-tip fixed that. The floor blew up as hard as a rock. Now the parts holding the transom on, well there's another story. I'll be needing some good glue...

We are happy with our air floor also. The dogs prefer to jump back there at anchor and nap, apparently because it is more comfortable than the hard floor in the cockpit, and they can lay with their heads on the tubs and see what is going on around them as they doze off. We have the Zodiac 230 and find that it fits nicely on Hurley H2O davits on the swim platform without issues of water splash or hanging over and hitting dock pilings.

us dollar is still pretty strong. check out the Takacat from NZ and order direct. has an inflatable floor but its a seperate piece that sits on top of the bottom of the dingy therefore much harder to puncture.
