Hello,

I have a new 2021 Ranger R25. There's a wash down hose or may be called shower hose on starboard in rear transom. Its inside a little compartment as you enter the boat through the rear walkway. How do I turn this on? When I open it water just dribbles out. Is this fresh water or raw? I presume the house batteries need to be on but I don't get any pressure and don't know if there's a switch somewhere that needs to be on.

Thanks!!

That is fresh water. Have you turned on the water pressure?

I had a similar question when I first tried to use mine. At first I didn't realized that there is a control knob inside the compartment that is both on/off and hot/cold. BUT there's a second controller on the shower handle itself, right where the hose is attached. It rotates to control the flow of water on/off. They both need to be on. Fixed it for me.

The stupid water saver shower head is likely plugged with crud. Disassemble clean and reassemble.

So I have the switch that controls the fresh water in the sink and head turned on and still no good. House battery on and tank full of water. The handle has a knob as well to turn on but just dribbles out. This is a brand new boat, just a month old so can't be any crud in the hose. I'm gonna look underneath perhaps its kinked somehow.

My R29 outside shower would just dribble as well. Take a look at the hose to handle connection. On mine, the hole in the handle was maybe 1/8".... I made than hole 5/16" with a drill. Now it is a useable shower.

I hope that helps.

Rocky
