New vinyl, wanted a routine-washdown protocol usable at the dock or at anchor/buoy.
(My marina strictly forbids boat washing owing to water consumption restrictions, but tolerate "my own freshwater").
The answer: Karcher's OC3+, a tiny self-contained rechargeable "pressure" washer (rated at a gentle 72 PSI max).
Available Amazon $130, as is the slightly higher capacity "Fanttik" knockoff.
Perfect for rinsing off the salt, footprints, guano; windshield etc.
The thing runs 15 minutes on a charge, and holds but 1.8 USGal, max discharge 2 LPM. Amazingly, that's more than enough: I can rinse the entire hull in a minute and a half, even from onboard. Fits easily into a lazarette or cupboard, weighs only a couple of pounds.

I just got one too. Haven’t tried it out yet. Thanks for the review.

Curious how it works on a heavily salted boat. When I get back to port after running offshore, which nearly always involves taking lots of waves over the sides, the salt sticks to all railings, window and roof structures, e.g. searchlight like glue. A regular hose on 'jet' does little and even using Saltaway sometimes still leaves a residue. A standard pressure washer will remove it.
