Washer/dryer & separate freezer unit on R31s... anyone yet?

How difficult and expensive is it to install the Low Speed Valve aftermarket? Thanks all.

Thank you Lenny & Louise, slow speed, going there now!
Come Meg!

Hi, Doug and Meg
Cynthia and I are trading up to a Cutwater 30 cb from our C28 (if you are not familiar, they are made by Fluid Motion, the same company that makes the Ranger Tugs). We wanted more ice and freezer capacity without giving up the cockpit refrigerator. We researched both ice makers and portable freezers. We settled on a Dometic freezer Model CFX 50 W. It's a mid sized model that runs on both 12 volt and 120. Not sure but it may also run on 24 volts. The company claims it can be used as a freezer or refrigerator, with temperature range of -8 to 50 degrees F. The freezer is in the garage still wrapped and boat is being readied by our friends at Bellingham Yacht Sales. It should be ready in a week or so and we'll test it all out at a big factory rendezvous for Ranger Tugs and Cutwater boats Sept 7-10. After that I'll be better able to tell you how it works.
What ever choice you make for added freezer capacity, we wish you many happy years of cruising down under ( still on our bucket list). Bob n Cynthia

WoW... thank you Bob & Cynthia, such a cool unit, yes please, let me know how this works for you & I will be looking out for some great pics from this up n coming rendezvous next month, even notice it has an optional sliding frame, and yes, NZ's is most worthy of all boaties bucket lists, before that bucket goes overboard, with the rope, indeed!!
Thanks guys!!
