We store our boat during the season on its trailer on a farm in WA. The trailer is stored in the exact same spot between cruises.
Last month on a cruise we noticed a slow drain from the galley sink. This cruise the slow drain in the galley sink was much worse. Even a small plunger didn’t resolve the problem.
This evening back in our launching port of Bellingham we tied port side to the guest dock. I inserted a 6” screwdriver at the outlet of the galley sink drain.
Out came a small wasp nest! Yikes!
That resolved the slow drain problem. Going forward all drains will be covered with Gorilla tape when the boat is on the trailer. One more thing added to the checklist!

Consider a plastic or rubber plug.
Wide variety of plugs at Home Depot.

Gorilla tape might be overkill. I would use blue painters' tape. It would do the job and be easier to remove and not leave any sticky residue
