HI there folks,
I'm a new owner, C-28, boat being built now, delivery planned for May 2018.
So one thing I was thinking that would be nice, is if they would have a "boat build cam", so you could watch your boat getting built. That would be pretty cool, yes?
Seeing the various 'build threads' on places like The Hull Truth, those are cool threads - usually when someone is restoring a boat, they post lots of pictures of various stages of the process. They always get huge crowds of followers very interested in the restoration and construction process.
Seems a new boat build would have the same effect, and even more so for the purchaser? I'd love to see the hull mold process, watch the stringers and deck being installed, watch the lamination process, watch the motor getting dropped in, see the cabin and electronics getting installed. The excitement would only amplify, and you'd have a great picture of the stage of completion. And it seems like it would be a great marketing concept as well?
Curious for any thoughts on this. Cheers!
Tom
