Water clearing in South Sound

We went for a cruise around Elliott Bay today. It was wonderful to get out and be on the water. One longtime boater in our marina has been reluctant to go out for the last few weeks because the water has been so cloudy from the recent storms and river runoff. While it wouldn't have occurred to me (newbie), he said he was concerned about the sand and silt in the water getting into his pumps.

In any case, the water is clearing up in Elliott Bay - actually turning green again. We could see 2-3 feet below the surface. Those of you on the Puget Sound, how is it in your home waters?

In Edmonds we have a lot of logs etc. in the water. The water is clear inside the port, not sure about outside the port. Very foggy up here. Can't wait to get out again.........

I ran round trip from Whidbey to Everett last Tuesday. Had to take Ron (Meander) to West Marine to get some parts for his boat. There were a few patches of debris - but nothing terrible. Today - it is beautiful out there!
