Hi there, I have a 2020 32CB and noticed water in the area under the floor panel in the main berth where (I assume) the garmin sonar sensor is installed. Is that normal?

I have also noticed some leaking from the side windows in the main berth and head. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Bryce

Hello Bryce,

The water up by the sonar is not normal but is typical if there is any water that gets trapped up there. The boat sits almost level in the water there so it can get trapped but will work its way aft into the bilge via the limber hole just aft of the sonar and sump pump box. I would make sure there isn't any debris blocking this as well.

For the windows that are leaking are they the white oval windows? Also have you discussed this with your dealer yet? If not, please reach out to them so they can get it sealed and fixed before possible damage happens. Hope this all helps and have a Happy Holidays!!

Thanks,

Thank you, Kevin. Yes it's coming from the oval windows. It looks like a little water stays in there on the outside and may leak over time into the cabin. I've also noticed some water consistently in the bathroom on the ledge next to the toilet (the one that's about 6in above the shower floor level), as well as some pooling in the shower floor. I bought the boat in November (it's a 2020 and had 23hrs on it) from Bellingham Yachts. I'll reach out to Ronnie to see if he can help.
