Water leak

Andrew,
Water leaking when filling, or with shore connection. Bilge pump comes on. Water runs into v-berth. If I can't do it Wefing must come visiting. We, as you know are on the St. Johns River. Best to get it fixed before heading south which will increase travel time. We have left the truck and trailer behind. of course.

I know it is Sun and you might not get this message until Sunday. If you have any sugestions send them off to me.

Regarding the water leak...check the hose clamps on the water heater...we had a similar exp. and found the water heater leaking into the bilge causing the bilge pump to come on and off...it was hard to find and leaked more when filling than when not.

Where in the V-berth are you seeing the water? The panel behind the helm dash in the v-berth is easily removed with 4 screws. You can then see your water fill if you think thats where it is coming from. I have yet to have one of those leak but it can always be a possibility.

Let me know where you are seeing the water first and we can go from there.

ok,I will check that. probably need to get a slip and hook up to shore water. Leaks only when filling.
1st time water came into the vberth when in the water.
