Subject: Water level changes in Lake Washington, Seattle

Does anyone have an idea as to the extent the water level in Lake Washington, Seattle, WA changes during the year. At this time it seems quite low and someone told me it could be higher by as much as 3 feet during late May to end of July.

I ask as I'm looking at a Marina on the lake that has fix docks (that is, they don't float). For our R-21EC the boat is several feet below the dock's surface at this time of year and makes it very difficult for a handicapped person getting on/off this boat. If the water level were to be 3 feet higher it might be more manageable.

Thanks. 🙂

They try to keep the high and low levels within two feet. The biggest range was during a significant drought back in 1958 where it dropped 4 feet - that is the current record. So in a non-record drought year you are probably looking at 3 feet with a possibility of 4 in the extreme.
