Subject: Water puddling on R29 CB command bridge ?

I'm curious to know if when the R29 CB is not under cover and it's raining does water collect and puddle in areas on the command bridge's flooring, and if so does it in some manner drain off somewhere if puddling becomes excessive.

I've seen some photos of the command bridge and notice that some photos show one cabin roof hatch is present while in other photos do not see this hatch! I assume RT over time makes changes that explain this.

No matter, I suspect water will puddle in places on the command bridge's floor and want to know how the water is drained off, if indeed it can drain. If it does drain off, where does it drain and where to ?

Thanks.... 🙂

Barry: You know we have the R29S but I think I may be able to help answer the drainage question. One the back of the roof (floor of your R29CB), toward the rear of the eyebrows and in the gutter if you will there is a drain on both port and starboard for draining roof water. If you run a water hose there you’ll see water drain down the side of your side saloon windows. Important to keep these cleaned out from time to time. Let me know if yours is the same.

Jim: Thanks...
I'm going to the RT Monroe factory next week. This is where the R31 and R29 models are built. I will examine and look for the Command Bridge's draining aspects.
